A Snowmobile Groomer in the Swamp

The only guess on our 2nd what is it was so close that I am letting you know it was a tractor used for snowmobile grooming in Siron Wisconsin. It went through the ice in a swamp. The pictures sent were interesting. Enjoy and good guessing Musky Jim!

i thought that it looked like a John Deere tractor!! I never knew they used a tractor to make snowmobile trails though!! Poor tractor!!! Hope no one got hurt. that baby sunk down their quite a ways!! Did they get it out?

@musky Jim, some of the clubs started using tractors but they have found them too heavy for the swamps especially as this proves once again. Our club has talked about it but decided against getting one. This happened in Siron WI so I don’t know any more details. I know there is a big fine with the DNR if you don’t get it out so I am sure they did some how. The Cruisers Club in Woodruff had a big groomer go into a lake two winters ago and it was ruined. You hear it all the time, no ice is safe ice!

WOW that would suck!!
