I wanted to share a special memory of Jay from the last summer he was here.  At our potluck dinner we always say a prayer before we eat. Jay always added to the end of the prayer these words: “And God keep the animals in the woods safe and warm.” At his funeral a friend repeated these words and then said that Jay had recently added the fish too and he didn’t know why. Well, we do… after he said those words last summer the kids said to him and don’t forget the fish! That is a memory we will always cherish.
