A Great Ladies fun Day!

We had a big group and lots of fun at Ladies crafting this week, wine and all!!! And the projects all turned out perfect even for the new crafters!
New Skipper on the Pontoon!

We had a new family in this week all the way from Virginia! Today was the day for pontoon boat rides and Dick let Loren drive the boat for the last stretch and she did a great job, even docked the boat! Here she is also with her sister Devon, hope you all have a safe trip all the way back to Virginia this weekend. We had a great time together!
Wisconsin DNR

Many of you ask if the DNR is ever on our lake and I have said they are. Well, for all of you who have never seen them on the lake we had a visit today from our DNR Warden Tim Ebert. He stopped by to visit and see how everything was going on Booth Lake so I snapped a picture of him by his boat with a couple of our customers, Emma and Nathan!
Many of you saw the blog post about a long time customer Jay Armstrong who passed away from a heart attack at age 47 last Feb. His family came to spend another week with us last week. While they were here we planted a tree at the resort in memory of Jay. All the kids in the resort helped dig the hole and paint a rock in rememberance.

An Ice Cream Social!

One of our customers – Jake – Graduated from High School this year and to celebrate wanted to have an Ice Cream Social! So different cabins brought – ice cream, bananas, choc chips, mini marshmallows, choc and caramel sauce, crushed oreo’s and whipped cream. Everyone had fun making up their own version of gooey goodness! Thanks for a great idea Jake!

For one week every summer while our friend Bill is here we see him almost every day down by the lake painting. Everyone stops and visits and watches and sees a beautiful picture by the end of the week.

Key Chain Queens!

This is a craft I have been doing with the older kids here for many years. The kids work on key chains while here but also love to start some to take and do on the ride home. These girls worked on at least one every day and ended up with all these key chains plus 4 each to do on the way home. I have some new colors this year and they made some really pretty and colorful key chains.
