This is the end of our Granddaughter Lizzie’s first visit with us. We were very busy every day having lots of fun and experiencing lots of new things. So what was the best thing we did according to Lizzie?????? Tubing Fun!!!!!!

Andrew’s Birthday!

And what would a Birthday be without presents! That was the first thing he wanted to do after we got home on Monday. First he opened the presents then they played with them all day!!!! We finished the day with cake at the campfire. Pretty much fun for a 5 year old!
Once again we were lucky enough to be able to have 3 of our Grandkids visit us. This was the first visit for Lizzie without her parents. We are driving back from picking them up in these pictures and will have more pictures of the fun we are having soon.

My two brothers came to spend some time with us this week before the busy summer comes. And today was my brother Dale’s Birthday so we all spent a fun day together starting with lunch at nearby Musky Shores! Dale is the one smiling in the middle, always a happy fun person to be with! Happy Birthday Dale!
A couple weeks ago I put up a blog about a person my Granddaughter Kate told me about – Abe Clark who is currently running across the US to raise money to provide clean water for Haiti. Abe had to take a week from his run to attend the funeral of his Grandfather. While back in Wisconsin he also took the time to visit Kate’s classroom where is future mother-in-law teaches. So Kate was able to meet him in person and have her picture taken with him. What a thrill for her! I hope many of you have had the time to look up the website and follow his blog as it is very very interesting. Once again the website is runningwater.cc.
Soccer Champs!

Our two Granddaughters were in the Cedarburg Soccer Tournament this last weekend and played the best! They were very proud of their 2nd place Trophy’s! Great Job Kate and Lizzie!
Locks of Love

Many of you know my granddaughter Kate and have seen pictures of her on our blog. She has beautiful long brown hair that she recently had cut so she could donate it to Locks of Love. For anyone who doesn’t know what that is click on the words and look at the site. It is a wonderful organization to help children who have hair loss for various reasons. And it is wonderful of Kate to donate her beautiful hair to Locks of Love.
