The Best Resturant in the Milw Area

Yes I am still in Grafton having lots of fun with the grandkids. But the highlight of my trip in the fall is going out to eat with my daughter. Tonight Becky & Kory and I went to Black Wolf Run in Kohler. Now anyone who has been there will know what I am talking about…. the food was exceptional. I did have the walleye and it was the best I ever had (they must get it from Minocqua!) and the service was wonderful. This is a special treat for us and everyone should have treats like this with their kids at least once!

I don’t know for sure what is going on in Minocqua other than the snow disappeared once again so Dick is still working outside!

Golf Cart Fun

Everyone knows that Dick & I ride around the resort on our golf carts. And everyone wants a ride whenever they see us. We had so much fun on the ride then everyone wanted to get into the picture. Another good picture from summer!

More Labor Day Kids

We had alot of kids here for Labor Day Weekend and although Richard fished 12 hours straight, the other kids enjoyed the playground area 12 hours a day! There was the sound of laughter all day long!

Picnic at the Playground

One of the things that is great to do while at a resort is to eat outside and a fun place is at the play center. These are our two Grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Andrew enjoying their lunch in the fort at the play center. It was a beautiful day and they love being outside all the time and a picnic just adds to the fun.

The Sandbox Crowd!

These kids had a wonderful time playing in the sandbox. They built a castle and ran down to the lake many many times to get water for the moat! It kept them all busy for most of the afternoon and they all had so much fun! (Notice the grandkids again! Little guy on the left, Andrew and Kate is on the right in the back!)

Tubing Fun

Our Granddaughter Kate is on the left on the tube with her friends Emma in the middle and Hannah on the right. They were zooming around the lake for about an hour having a wonderful time. Earlier they swam out to the raft and jumped in and out many times. What a fun way to spend this beautiful sunny day.

S’Mores!

Yesterday Dick & I went South to pick up two of our Grandkids so they could spend 10 days with us. This is the first summer visit for Andrew who turned 4 on saturday and his first s’more at the campfire. You will be seeing a lot pictures of the grandkids over the next week as they are our favorite summer visitors!

Ben’s Booth Lake Kids Fishing Contest

For the 2nd year during the week he was here, Ben has organized, printed the rules and conducted a kids fishing contest. He also had a traveling trophy made this year. The contest was catch and release. Here are the pictures of the trophy, each team in their boat and all the contestants with the winners in the middle holding the trophy. We really appreciate the effort Ben put into doing this for all the kids. Everyone had a great time. Ben is the one on the left in the picture with all the contestants. These are fun memories for everyone.
