Our Minocqua Chamber of Commerce added a 24 hour visitor center. It is a beautiful addition and wonderful to have it open 24 hours. I attended the ribbon cutting to open the new center:

Minocqua has a new stamping, scraping store and it is full of wonderful things! Great fun classes, make and takes and lots of Northwoods papers to scrap your wonderful vacation to Booth Lake Landing! A must stop for all the crafters out there!

We have a very wonderful new restaurant in town. Molly’s Cafe opened in the mini-mall next to Wal-Mart. They are open just for breakfast and lunch. I had a wonderful soup and sandwich for $5!!!!! A great place to stop for a quick meal during a day of shopping!

Country Kitchen is gone! And a wonderful new Mexican Restaurant called eL Mez in it’s place and open for lots of good food and great margaritas! And very reasonably priced! A must stop when in Minocqua!

We had an open  house at our new Library yesterday and everyone was able to sign a post and put your name in eternity! I will post more pictures after it is all done but it is going to be beautiful! I think we should start holding our town board meetings in front of the fire place!
