Fish Addict

Many of you have read comments on the blog by FishAddict Rick and many of you saw my facebook entry about his brain tumor so I am updating you on Rick. He had some surgery and now will have some treatment but took time out in between to come to Booth Lake Landing for some R&R. We had a good week with him here but I think what he enjoyed most was fishing with his son. So I took a picture of them both so everyone could see how good he was doing. So happy for Rick and family and glad they were able to relax here.
Campfire Music!

This lovely Lady entertained us with the most beautiful song at the campfire last night. She has a wonderful voice and we can’t wait till she comes back next summer and entertains us more. It was a treat!
Two weeks in a row we had a birthday at the resort.
Food, cakes and lots of candles!!!! What fun!!!
An Eagle Scout!

Tonight we had the joy of celebrating on our customers becoming an Eagle Scout. Here are the proud parents and John, the Eagle Scout all very proud of his accomplishments. Congratulations John!!!
Prom King and Queen

Two of our long time customers who are both Juniors at Deerfield High School were selected as Prom King and Queen this year. It is so fun to have seen these kids grow up from little to such lovely adults! And such an honor to have a King and Queen here!

Turkeys!!!

One of our good customers that reads our blogs every day emailed us these pictures of the turkeys he shot this year turkey hunting. One was 24 lbs. and the other 25lbs. They were such nice big birds I decided to make Virgil and his turkeys the star of the blog today. Way to go Virgil!!!

One of our long time customers that comes south to us for vacation (from Washburn, WI) sent me an article from the paper that was worth sharing! Sarah Hahn bowled a 636 series and joined the 600 club at the alley. She beat out her mother whose high series is 631 and the only other person in the club. Way to go Sarah!!!!
