Minocqua has the largest snowman wearing the largest Stormy Kromer and it is quite a sight to see! In case you don’t know what a Stormy Kromer is I had a post last year talking all about the great winter hats made in Ironwood, Mich. This one is 8ft in diameter!

This is our neighbor’s fence that looks so festive with all the snow! I hope you are all enjoying this wonderful holiday season with family and friends. And enjoying all the pretty sights everywhere!

Here is a picture of Booth Lake just at the end of the driveway. And yes the snow is plowed into a pile that almost reaches the top of the swing.

It has been snowing every day since we got the 12 inches last sat and it is truly beautiful up here. All the snow is staying on every tree branch, I have never seen a Christmas season so beautiful! This is a picture of what all the roads up here look like!

I took some pictures of the cottages after the new snow we from yesterday and all day today! I thought all of you who only come in the summer would love to see what your cottages look like in the winter!

There are ice shanty cities that pop up all over the big lakes and this one is starting on Lake Minocqua. And I hear they are catching fish!

Snowmobile trails opened today at noon.
The conditions are great with over
14 inches of snow so come on up………

The site outside Norwood Pines Supper Club was just enchanting tonight! All their trees had white lights and were cover with snow. I just had to share it with you, it was so beautiful!
