The word is out that the fishing is good on Booth Lake this winter! Not one but two Eagles were out in front of the lake home having dinner!

Mark did some ice fishing so the ice is thin where his holes were and it didn’t take the Eagle long to find the hole. This Eagle was sitting on the ice right in front of the Lake Home. So fun to see them any time of the year!

What a view first thing in the morning from our bedroom window! This Eagle sat in the tree for about a half hour as many people walked by, took pictures and just enjoyed him!!!

This Eagle was sitting on the side of hwy 70 just as close to me as it appears in the picture. It was awesome!

This Eagle has been coming every day and sitting in the tree in front of the Lake Home. I hope he is still there while some guests are in the Lake Home. He is intently watching something. He never leaves even with the noise of the golf cart. I think he is looking at the same spot the two where sitting on the ice. Must be some interesting fish there!

Remember the picture of the otters playing on the ice?
Well in the very same spot I saw an Eagle sitting a couple days later.
I went to town and came back, drove down to the lake and saw
TWO Eagles sitting in the same spot. How awesome is that!
Now fisherman what is that telling you???

We were driving to town today when we spotted two Eagles on the side of the road eating a deer. By the time we turned around to take a picture they had both flown to trees so this is the best picture I could get. We waited a bit to see if they would come down but they didn’t. We were actually late for our meeting but the eagles were worth the time!
