The best thing about Booth Lake Landing Resort is making Best Friends! Here is a picture of my granddaughters Lizzie and Kate with Emma. Kate has been coming the same week as Emma since they were each 3 & 4 and have been best friends ever since. And this year Lizzie was a nice addition to the friendship. They were busy on a rainy day doing girl things and having fun.

This is a craft I have been doing with the older kids here for many years. The kids work on key chains while here but also love to start some to take and do on the ride home. These girls worked on at least one every day and ended up with all these key chains plus 4 each to do on the way home. I have some new colors this year and they made some really pretty and colorful key chains.

On the sunny days we have had the kids have been having alot of fun on the kayaks! They are so colorful, they can be seen all over the lake!

It has been a tradition for a couple years now for Maggie and Dick to go strawberry picking at the fields on Hwy 70. This year the first week of picking was the first week Maggie was here so they filled a box pretty quick. And guess who had to clean them all?? But they were so sweet and good, everyone enjoyed them!

Last week I had a special day together with two special girls, Ollie and Maggie. We made 2 mini scrapbooks and had loads of fun together. Now they have to get the pictures of our fun week together to fill them!

Everyone knows that Dick & I ride around the resort on our golf carts. And everyone wants a ride whenever they see us. We had so much fun on the ride then everyone wanted to get into the picture. Another good picture from summer!

We had alot of kids here for Labor Day Weekend and although Richard fished 12 hours straight, the other kids enjoyed the playground area 12 hours a day! There was the sound of laughter all day long!

Every day during Labor Day Weekend I would come down to the lake and see 9year old Richard standing in the water catching fish. He is such an outdoor, have fun kid, I named him Huck Finn and had to get a picture.
And yes he did get lots and lots of fish and wanted me to take a picture for the blog. He also caught bigger fish in the boat and I promised him you will see it on the blog as soon as his parents send me the picture so there will be more coming later but here is one he was proud of:

All summer long the kids have a great time catching fish off the pier. It was so fun watching these kids get excited over all the fish they caught. They were out there fishing every day catching lots and lots of little fish and even a few bigger ones.
