This is suppose to be the brightest moon in 300 years and closer to the earth than we have ever seen it. It really is beautiful. And I love a full moon when there is snow out, you can see everywhere at night almost light daylight. Enjoy!

Pictures from a Road Trip

Today Dick and I decided to go to Rhinelander to do some Christmas shopping. On the way there I said I needed some new pictures for the blog. So he stopped all along the way whenever we saw something you might enjoy. So here is a picture of a man made platform built for the Osprey. As you can see the Osprey has built a nest on it and every summer we see them on the nest and little ones two. It is easier to get a picture now with the leaves off the trees so hope you enjoy this bit of man and nature working together!
Another Eagle Siting

This majestic bird was sitting in a tree on Hwy 70W just watching. It is always fun to see the Eagle and it seems many are staying around this winter so far.

This Eagle was eating right on the side of Highway 70W and did not
move even as we drove right up to it. Just looked up and went on eating.

A Ride on a Nice Day

Yesterday was such a nice day that we took a ride and with camera in hand found a couple nice pictures to share with you. I just love the streams we see up here, they are picture perfect! So hope you enjoy looking too.
