A Swim Across Booth Lake!

Neil has swam across Booth Lake every year for the last 12 years he has stayed here. For the last couple years another customer John has joined him. And Dick follows in a boat to make sure everyone is safe. Here are some picture of this years swim.

An Ice Cream Social!

One of our customers – Jake – Graduated from High School this year and to celebrate wanted to have an Ice Cream Social! So different cabins brought – ice cream, bananas, choc chips, mini marshmallows, choc and caramel sauce, crushed oreo’s and whipped cream. Everyone had fun making up their own version of gooey goodness! Thanks for a great idea Jake!
Corn Hole Contest!

This past week was one huge Corn Hole Contest -32 adults and kids were signed up, 16 teams picked and the action began in a double elimination contest. Some games had parents and kids competing or brother and sister! Here is a picture of my two grandkids Kate and Colton in a hot match against each other.
When the final game was played on Friday afternoon we had a winning team. Here is Laura and Ryan proud winners standing with Tim the mastermind of the contest! Thanks everyone for all the fun!

Key Chain Queens!

This is a craft I have been doing with the older kids here for many years. The kids work on key chains while here but also love to start some to take and do on the ride home. These girls worked on at least one every day and ended up with all these key chains plus 4 each to do on the way home. I have some new colors this year and they made some really pretty and colorful key chains.

Campfire Music!

This lovely Lady entertained us with the most beautiful song at the campfire last night. She has a wonderful voice and we can’t wait till she comes back next summer and entertains us more. It was a treat!

Last week I had a special day together with two special girls, Ollie and Maggie. We made 2 mini scrapbooks and had loads of fun together. Now they have to get the pictures of our fun week together to fill them!
