By March 15 all ice shanty’s had to be off the lakes so everyone is walking to ice fish. This was taken at what is called school house bay on Lake Minocqua. This is just a few of over 100 people standing on the ice for one last try before the ice is to thin. It was an awesome sight to see so many people standing all around the lake.

Yesterday Dick and I had to take a trip to Wisconsin Rapids for a funeral of my Uncle. Now it wasn’t a sad day, yes we will miss my Uncle, he was a wonderful guy but he was 96 and had a long rich life. The highlight of the day though was being with his four sisters. They are each 83, 98, 92 and 90! And as fun to be with as can be. There were many other relative there and what a surprise to find out a cousins daughter who just bought a cabin near us!

Just wanted to share with you another really special way to travel to Booth Lake Landing Resort! This owner had been traveling all around the US and stopped at the resort for a couple days to visit his sister who was staying here. Everyone admired his bike! What a cool way to travel!

In one of our earlier blogs we had a picture of a car on the lake, we all know there are many boats on the lake and this weekend we had a plane on the lake! I guess there are all kinds of ways to get to a resort! Quite a fun thing to see.
