Mark did some ice fishing so the ice is thin where his holes were and it didn’t take the Eagle long to find the hole. This Eagle was sitting on the ice right in front of the Lake Home. So fun to see them any time of the year!

We found these holes on the side of a hill on Booth Lake Road. Look at the claw marks outside the holes. What animal do you think made these holes and claw marks? Give me some guesses!!!
While were were riding around the other day we saw turkeys everywhere and then spotted these geese! I think they were all out enjoying the sun which had disappeared for awhile!

We were on a road trip looking at color yesterday and came upon a pond with many turtles sunbathing so I took a few pictures that turned out really cool. I hope you enjoy them, here is the first one:
Grouse!!!!

It is soooo hard to get a picture of a grouse. We see them on the side of the road all the time and they run away so fast you just can’t get a picture. But this one flew up into a tree right in front of me and sat there long enough for a picture. Look close, he is there!!!
More Deer!!!

Today as I came down the hill from my house and turned this deer was standing right in front of me. We startled each other I am sure. Well I took out the camera and still got a nice picture of her as she scooted away. Then I turned and looked to my right and there was her baby, spots and all so close I didn’t even use the telephoto lens. I think that is the closest I have ever been to a deer. It was Awesome!!
